Stream AnD - Stellar forthcoming Electronic Explorations Compilation at Pyc Sessions

We’ve already waxed lyrical about the huge and massively under-appreciated role Rob Booth has had in shaping the tastes of the underground electronic music community. We could spend hours listing the veritable pantheon of guests who’ve contributed mixes to his seminal Electronic Explorations podcast but we’d much rather you went and found out for yourself, if you haven’t already.

EE has always been a non-profit effort, with Rob choosing to avoid monetising what is essentially a priceless source of promotion for electronic music, with a reach and audience that PR firms would kill to tap into. A shiny new website and years of hosting costs don’t come for free though and in his inimitable style, Rob decided that the best way to recoup some expenses would be to call in a few favours and curate a 60 trackcompilation, consisting of music from an absolutely unbelievable line up of previous guests, friends and family of EE.

We’ve got an exclusive preview of a track by AnD, the Manchester based Techno outfit who feature on the comp alongside ∆kkord, DjRum, Perc, Distal, Tom Dicicco, Hizatron, Geiom, Old Apparatus,Ruckspin, Trevino, Kowton (stream his track through Sonic Routerhere) and many, many, many more (full tracklist is below.)

Typically uncompromising, Stellar is a bass heavy and flawlessly produced example of both why we’re very proud of our city at the moment and why AnD are being feted from Berlin to Buenos Aires by the great and good of the Techno world.

The compilation is available to pre-order from the Electronic Explorations bandcamp now and the link will be sent on the 1st July to those who buy. £5 is the minimum price but we’d recommend contributing as much as you can afford.
